In Ksawerów, near Łódź, one of the most advanced and largest manufacturing facilities in Poland has been established. The investor behind the project is Daikin Manufacturing Poland Sp. z o.o., a global leader in heat pump production. The general contractor for the investment was Takenaka Europe GmbH Sp. z o.o., a subsidiary of the Japanese conglomerate Takenaka Corporation.

The architectural firm Ingarden & Ewy Architekci (IEA), commissioned by Takenaka Europe, developed a comprehensive design documentation using BIM technology, covering the building permit and execution phases. The project included ten building models and a site development model, with a total usable area of 114,000 m².

The modern complex comprises a two-storey office building, a production hall connected by a canopy to a warehouse, and a group of six technical buildings serving auxiliary functions.

The total investment cost amounted to €300 million. According to the investor’s plans, by 2030 the facility is expected to provide employment for over 3,000 people.

The project was designed with a focus on high energy efficiency, workplace ergonomics, and sustainable development. The facility meets stringent environmental and technological standards, marking a significant milestone on the map of modern industry in Poland.

The design was developed using BIM (Building Information Modelling) technology. The photos presented were kindly provided by Takenaka Europe GmbH Sp. z o.o.
